A comprehensive, four-week class designed for writers who want to publish short- and long-form satire and incorporate satire into longer works.
You’ll leave this class with plenty of laughs, a deeper understanding of the art of satire, ideas and drafts for new short-form pieces, and a strategy for incorporating satire into other writing projects.

Writing Sketch Comedy
An introduction to the structures and styles of sketch comedy writing.
Over six weeks, you'll develop new sketches in a variety of formats, edit and punch up work in a writers' room, learn the basics of the business, and discover what makes sketch comedy so fun and such a valuable addition to any writer's toolbox.

This 8-week program invites a small cohort to develop their solo work with lessons, presentations, feedback, workshops, and a final showcase.
The Solo Shop is designed for experienced writers and/or performers ready to hone this specific area of their craft. Space is limited, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
